Memphis Rocks Videos
Memphis Rocks is a civic pride campaign, spearheaded by the LPBC, and designed as a give back supporting the Memphis Police Department Fallen Officer Memorial. You can learn more about the Memphis Rocks campaign in our Initiatives section of the website, but in 2013, we teamed with the On Location: MEMPHIS International Film & Music Festival to make Memphis Rocks a category, just like features, documentaries, and animations. The Memphis Rocks category was a chance for Memphians to share their perspective on what makes our community so great and the amazing work being done by companies, nonprofits, schools, and individuals. Films had to be five minutes or less. We had some tremendous entries and then selected winners to be shown on the silver screen during the Film Festival. Here is a sampling of some of the films that were shown at the festival.
